Lykewake Walk Holiday Accommodation

The Lykewake Cottage is a holiday accommodation on the north York moors. Our unique cottage is an 18th century re furbished farmhouse with a long history and connection to the Lyke wake Walk. The farmhouse was once owned by Bill Cowley when he founded  the walk. We had the cottage renovated 8 years ago and is now a cozy holiday rental open all year round. Set just outside of Swainby near Northallerton north Yorkshire the cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps upto 5 people. children are welcome. Swainby is a lovely village on the western edges of the North York Moors National Park. With a small stream flowing adjacent to the High Street complete with resident ducks. The local area is a walkers paradise with direct access to the North York Moors including the Cleveland Way. The National Cycle Route 65 passes directly through Swainby.
